Louise Ann Inglis, 86, of Lima left this life peacefully to be with the Lord on March 6, 2022.

Louise was born on December 26, 1935 in Pesque Isle, ME, to the late Louis and Mildred Landry. She married her husband Donivan G. Inglis on February 11, 1956. In life they celebrated 36 years together. Don preceded her in death on March 12, 1992.

Louise was a member of St. Gerard Catholic Church. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Louise enjoyed spending her time in the outdoors and traveling with her husband. She also enjoyed shopping for and dealing with antiques. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Louise is survived by her four children, Donivan (Noreen) Inglis, Deborah (Kevin) Bantner, Denise Inglis, and Darby Inglis. She leaves behind her twelve beloved grandchildren; twenty great grandchildren; one great-great grandson; and one great-great grandchild to arrive soon. She is also survived by her loyal companion, Lightning, her cat that she loved very much.

In addition to her parents and husband, Louise is preceded in death her first granddaughter, Tiffany Shaw; sister, Cecilia Griesdorn; and her brother, Louis Landry.

Funeral services will begin at 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 11, 2022, at CHILES – LAMAN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, SHAWNEE CHAPEL. Father Mike Sergi will officiate the service. Burial will follow in Gethsemani Cemetery.

The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday, March 11, prior to the service at the funeral home.

Memorial contributions may be made to any local cat rescue or charity of the donor’s choice.
