Linda Marie Burchett, age 73, was received into the hands of God at 5:15 pm Wednesday, July 8, 2020, at Blanchard Valley Hospital with the love of her family by her side.

Linda was born March 17, 1947 in Findlay, OH, to the late Edward “Eddie” and Marcella “Sally” (Zechman) Riffle. On June 27, 1969 she married Richard Burchett who preceded her in death on February 15, 1992.

Linda was a graduate of Findlay High School. She enjoyed scrap booking, fishing, cooking and her cooking gadgets. Linda especially loved finding a bargain. Her greatest joy was being surrounded by her children and grandchildren.

She is survived by three children, Melanie “Mel”” (Daniel) Parker of Mc Comb, Angela “Angie” (Charles “Chuck”) Franks, of Shreve and Tysha (Donald) Cheney of Findlay; ten grandchildren, Brandie (John ) Stebbins of Toledo, Meriagh Bailey of McComb, Demeatric Bailey of McComb, Xaiver (Nancy) Bailey of Findlay, Darrien Lim of WI, Ashley (Dave ) Nolen of Arcadia, Jessica (Jesse) Dulaney of New Regal, Adryenne (Solomon) Weihrauch of Ada, Zachary Cheney of Findlay and Alyssa Cheney of Findlay’; 17 great-grandchildren, brother, Steve (Teresa) Riffle of Circleville and sister, Kristie (Jim) Phipps of Findlay.

She is preceded in death by a still born baby boy, Patrick Burchett and a brother, Edward “”Butch”” Riffle.

Graveside services will begin at 1:00 pm Monday, July 13, 2020, in Maple Grove Cemetery, Bluffton.
