Leslie H. “Bobo” Chambliss, 72 of Lima, passed away May 31, 2022, at Lima Memorial Health Systems.

Leslie was born July 5, 1949 in Donalsonville, GA, to Joel and Sylvia (Sims) Chambliss, who preceded him in death.

Leslie was a simple man with a big heart; he would give the shirt off his back for those in need. He enjoyed playing bingo and spontaneous trips to visit his family. He will be deeply missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing him.

Leslie is survived by his children, Tabetha (Ron) Fifer and Curtis Chambliss; grandson, Jonathan Davis Fifer; granddaughter, Marissa Diane Fifer; great-grandchildren, Zak, Alex & Nolyn; brothers, Frankie Lee (Margie) Chambliss and David Chambliss and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by the love of his life, Ethel Sims and his siblings, Joe Will Chambliss, Willie Tom Martin, Madie Green Chambliss, Lewis Edward Chambliss and Dorothy Chambliss-Neeley.

No services will be held at this time per Leslie’s request.
