Leroy “Paul” P. Zimmerman, age 32, passed away October 2, 2021, at 7:32 pm, at his sister’s residence. Paul was born July 20, 1989, in Lima, OH, to Herman L. Zimmerman Jr. and Mary E. (Miller) Austin. His father preceded him in death and his mother survives in Lima.
Paul was a 2007 graduate of Lima Senior High School. He did work for a short time at McDonald’s until he couldn’t work due to his illness. Paul loved his dogs, music, you tubing and video games. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his loved ones and friends.
In addition to his mother, Paul is survived by his daughter, Kaylee Zimmerman of Lima, OH, 5 siblings: Windy (Larry Shoemaker Jr.) Bennett of Lima, OH, Ashley (Max) Dziengelewski of Celina, OH, Sandy Zimmerman of Franklin Furnace, OH, Eric Zimmerman of Franklin Furnace, OH and Willow Zimmerman of Spencerville, OH and his girlfriend, Kayla Koogler of Lima, OH. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Herman L. Zimmerman Sr., paternal grandmother, Sandra Sue Glasco-Zimmerman, maternal grandparents, Wayne E. and Rosalee Miller and his son, Aiden Zimmerman.
There will be a memorial service held on Monday, October 11, 2021 at 2:00 pm at the CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, EASTSIDE CHAPEL.
Visitation will be on Monday from 1:00 pm until the time of the funeral at 2:00 pm at the EASTSIDE CHAPEL. Memorial contributions may be made to made to the family. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.chiles-lamanfh.com.
