Lawrence “Larry” G. Frese II, age 57 of Elida, passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at 5:54 pm, at his residence.

He was born Mar. 29, 1964 in Lima, to Winona Wathene (Thomas) and Lawrence George Frese, Sr. who preceded him in death. His stepmother, Linda Frese, survives in Lima.

Surviving are his children: Lawrence “Larry” G. (Brittany) Frese, III of Van Wert, OH, Sandy K. (Matt Hale) Frese of Cridersville and Jessica M. (Robert ) Robbins of Romulus, MI; and the following sisters: Leanna “Peach” Isbel of Lima, Deanna Daniels of Salt Lake City, UT, Luanna “Cricket” Patterson of Elko, NV, Joanna (Anthony) Byrne of Lima; his stepbrothers and stepsister: Donald Martin of Ohio City, Rhonda Martin of College Station, TX and Melvin Martin of Sidney; ten grandchildren and his dogs, Sammy & Eddie.

He is preceded in death by a sister, Keanna “Cookie” Holiday.

His passions included drag racing, cars, go karts, sitting with his family and sharing stories, tinkering, mudding and hanging out in his garage and drinking beer. He was a jack of all trades.

Services will begin at 6:00 p.m., Monday at the Shawnee Chapel of Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
