Koneta F. Coolidge, 96, passed away October 6, 2021, at 5:21 pm, at Lost Creek Care Center.
Koneta was born May 20, 1925 in Lima, OH, to Samuel and Mildred (Yazel) Patterson who both preceded her in death. On April 9, 1944 she married James, Jr. Coolidge who preceded her in death on October 12, 1978.
Koneta retired from Lima Memorial in 1985 as a house keeper. Koneta was a life member at Westminster United Methodist Church. She loved her children dearly and cherished spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Koneta and her best friend Rowena also enjoyed spending time together and going to various fairs and Amish Country. Koneta also enjoyed going on cruises with her son Don and wife Margaret.
Koneta is survived by her children, Donald “Don” (Margaret) Coolidge of Marion, OH, Jerry (Cheryl) Coolidge of Marion, OH, Charis (Paul) Hilty of Greenville, IN, James “Jim”(Cindy) Coolidge of Lima, OH, and Beverly “Bev” (Mike) Ridenour of Waynesfield, OH, fifteen grandchildren, thirty six great grandchildren and eleven great-great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Betty (Jim) Kerns.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 at 1:00pm at CHILES – LAMAN FUNERAL HOMES, EASTSIDE CHAPEL. Pastor Dave Burkhart to officiate the service. Burial will be in Salem Westminster Cemetery following the service.
Visitation will be on Monday, October 11, 2021 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm and on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 from 11:00am to 1:00pm.
