Kevin W. Johnson, 59, passed away on November 8, 2021, at 11:38 pm, at his residence, surrounded by his loved ones.
Kevin was born May 23, 1962 in Lima, OH, to Lawrence Johnson and the late Sharon (Hanthorn) Johnson. On September 12, 1982 he married Kim (Snook) Johnson who survives in Lima, OH.
Kevin graduated from Bath High School 1981. He retired from the Labor Hall Local 329 after thirty years of service. Kevin also worked at the Honda Anna Plant for about five years. Some of his hobbies included being in a horse shoe and bowling league. Kevin also enjoyed taking various walks through Lima. Kevin was a family man and loved his wife Kim dearly and cherished spending time with his father, children and grandson.
Kevin is survived by his father, Lawrence Johnson of Lima, OH, wife, Kim A. Johnson of Lima, OH, children, Keith Johnson of Lima, OH, Kassandra Johnson of Lima, OH, grandson, Jayden Johnson of Lima, OH, siblings, Rick (Brenda) Johnson of Lima, OH, John Johnson of Lima, OH, Daniel Johnson of Lima, OH, father-in-law, Donald “Don” Snook of Elida, OH, mother-in-law, Beverly Snook of Elida, OH, and sisters-in-law, Candy (Frank) Johns of Columbus, OH and Charlotte Johnson of Cridersville, OH.
He is preceded in death by his siblings, Greg Johnson, Nancy Johnson, and Lawrence Johnson, Jr.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, November 13, 2021 at 10:30am at CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL HOMES, EASTSIDE. Steve Blackburn to officiate the service. Burial will be in Ward Cemetery following the service.
Visitation will be on Friday, November 12, 2021 from 2:00pm to 8:00pm at the EASTSIDE CHAPEL.
