Kent R. E. McCleary, age 38, passed away on May 23, 2021, at 1:23 pm, at his residence.

Kent “Fred” as he is known to his closest, was born July 6, 1982 in Lima. He was a passionate man who had boundless creativity and cared for others deeply. He had a talent for music. Through the years, he played in several bands throughout Lima and the surrounding areas. He loved drawing, different forms of art and enjoyed reading books. Kent had a beautiful smile, and he was a Patriot. He loved and valued American freedom. Kent was a sports fan, and especially enjoyed watching the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He was a loving husband, son, brother, grandson, nephew, uncle, cousin, and a friend to many. Above all else, he found his greatest pride in being a father to his beloved daughter, Nevaeh. Kent was an exceptional man. He was deeply loved by his family and will be greatly missed by all those who were fortunate enough to know him. He had many friends and acquaintances. A fitting celebration of his life and love will be held at some time in the future. When we look upon the stars at night we will be thinking of you dear boy.
