Kathleen A. Connors, 74, of Lima, passed away at 5:25 AM on Monday, April 11, 2022 at The Greens at Lima Convalescent Home.

She was born on October 19, 1947 in Lima to William and Janet (McCormick) Whitney, who both preceded her in death. On April 4, 1970, she married Leo Charles Connors, Jr., who preceded her in death on August 1, 2018.

Kathleen had attended St. Gerard grade school and then graduated from Lima Central Catholic High School. She then attended Mount St. Joseph University. She worked for many years as the manager of Wiechart Pharmacy.

She was a member of St. Gerard Church and attended St. Rose Church. She and her husband had been very active with Square Fair, the Knights of Columbus and The Lima Irish Parade, where they were the Grand Marshal’s in 2015. She enjoyed crafting but most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and attending as many of their events as she could.

Surviving are her son Shawn (Pamela Matthews) Connors; her daughter Bridget (Chris) Kelley; her grandchildren Ireland, Bree (Blake Goedde), John, Boston, Burke, Mia, and Tripp; her great-granddaughter Carson Goedde; her siblings Bill (Eileen) Whitney, Jerry Whitney, Greg (Deb) Whitney, Michael (Alison) Whitney, Chris Whitney-Arthur, Michelle Biggerstaff, Lisa (Jimmy) McMullen, Laurie (Doug) Frueh, Meg (Tom) Castleman and Jamie (Bob) Fitzgerald; her sister-in-law Peg Connors; her brother-in-law Glen Connors; numerous nieces and nephews and her extended family at the Green House that cared for her so lovingly.

She was preceded in death by her grandson Gable Connors; her sister-in-law Pat Connors.

The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Thursday, April 21, 2022 at CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, SHAWNEE CHAPEL.

A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 22, 2022 at St. Rose Catholic Church with Father David M. Ross officiating.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
