Judith “Judy” Pauline Schram age 61 of Ottoville, died Feb. 12, 2022 at Rock Hill, SC in her son’s home from A.L.S.

She was born Nov. 25, 1960 in Lima to Louis (dec’d) and Ruth (Plescher) Calvelage who survives.

Judy was one of four children born to Louis and Ruth. They include Lewis ”Butch” Calvelage (dec’d), Pam Rode (dec’d) and Frank (Gwen) Calvelage. She is also survived by her sons: Jon (Libby) Schram and Matt (Jackie) Schram and Matt’s children, Damon and Xander. She also leaves behind her significant other, Don Frese.

She was a 1979 graduate of Elida High School, and a graduate of Rhodes State with a degree as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. She worked as an OTA at several area nursing homes and did work as a travel OTA throughout the southeast. Judy was a self proclaimed Woman of adventure…Subaru pilot…Lover of nature….professional kayaker and canoe tipper…

A visitation will be held at the Shawnee Chapel of Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. where a service will immediately follow led by Mike Thaman.

In lieu of flowers or gifts, the family would like donations to be made to the ALS Association at ALS.org.
