Juanita J. Munch, 79, passed away on November 18, 2021, at 6:33 pm, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.
Juanita was born March 9, 1942 in Tazewell, TN, to Earl and Ethel (Wolfenbarger) Yeary who both preceded her in death. On November 9, 1968 she married Michael “Mike” Munch who survives in Lima, OH.
Juanita was a nurses aid in the Day Nursery at St. Charles Hospital in Oregon, OH from 1962 to 1968. She enjoyed spending time with the children during that time. Juanita also enjoyed working in the cafeteria at Ford Motor Company from 1985 to 2004. She put great pride in feeding the workers and getting to know them throughout her career. She loved her flowering garden and taking care of various flowers. Juanita loved her husband dearly and cherished spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Juanita is survived by her husband, Michael “Mike” G. Munch of Lima, OH, children, Lisa (Shawn) Burnett of Marion, OH, Melinda Hurst of Spencerville, OH, grandchildren, Conner Burnett of Marion, OH, Dalton (Devon) Hurst of Spencerville, OH, Colton Hurst of Spencerville, OH, Delaney Hurst of Spencerville, OH, great-grandchildren, Dallas, Paityne, Bailee, and Colton, siblings, Orville (Darlene) Yeary, Curtis Lee Yeary, Ricky Yeary, Betty (David) Cunningham, Patricia Ball, Marilyn (Troy), Teddy Yeary, Barbara (Wayne), Irene (Alva Jr.), Debra (George), sisters-in-law, Mary Yeary, Coleen Yeary, Gail Ann Carpenter, and brother-in-law, Jack Pace.
She is preceded in death by her son-in-law, Durik Hurst, siblings, J.B. Yeary, Ameline Lawson-Collins, Shelby Jean Martin, Earl Yeary, Jr., Donald Yeary, Franklin Yeary, and Ruby Pace.
Burial of cremated remains will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to a charity of donor’s choice.
