Bluffton
Joyce Ann Hattery, 84, passed away September 27, 2022 at her residence. Joyce was born November 29, 1937 in Bluffton to the late Harley and Alma (Agin) Diller. On August 9, 1959 she married John Hattery who survives.
Joyce was a graduate of Bluffton High School and attended Ft. Wayne Bible College. She was a homemaker and attended Pleasant View United Methodist Church. Joyce enjoyed gardening, cooking, quilting, her cats and spending time with her family.
Survivors include her husband, John Hattery of Bluffton; two daughters, Julie Hattery of Lima, Jane (Steven) Rigdon of Leo, Indiana; a son, Jeffery Hattery of Lebanon, Ohio; four grandchildren, Cassandra (Nathanial) Walker, Brandon Rigdon, Logan Rigdon, Nicholas Rigdon and a sister-in-law, Marilyn Diller of Bluffton.
Joyce was preceded in death by three brothers, Robert Diller, Wilford Diller, Cleo Diller; and three sisters, Aileen Binkley, Vida Hilty and Janice Fridley.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, September 30, 2022 at Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, Bluffton. Pastor Mike Noggle officiating. Burial will be in Ebenezer Mennonite Cemetery. Visitation will be Thursday, September 29, 2022 from 4:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. & one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
