Jonathan “Jon” L. Shelton, 41, passed away on February 5, 2023, at 2:45 am, at Cleveland Clinic in Cleveland, OH.
Jon was born July 17, 1981 in Marion, OH, to the late Larry Shelton and Barb (Sharp) Shelton who survives in Springfield, TN.
Jon attended Marion Harding High School. He worked at Alpla Warehouse where he was a forklift driver for over three years. Jon enjoyed fishing, drag racing and watching football. He always enjoyed watching the Ohio State Buckeyes and Pittsburgh Steelers. The man loved to eat and liked his Little Debbie. He also enjoyed spending time with his daughters and taking them shopping.
Jon is survived by his mother, Barb Shelton of Springfield, TN, fiancé, Brandy Mull of Lima, OH, children, Mattison Mull of Lima, OH, Emma Mull of Lima, OH, sister, Ashley Murray of Springfield, TN, step-brother, Jeff Skinner of Columbus, OH, step-mother, Joyce Shelton-Wicker of Marion, OH, uncle, Dave (Tammy) Sharp of Caledonia, OH, Dan (Trudy) Sharp of Marion, OH, aunt, Connie Shelton of Marion, OH, aunt, Cindy, niece, Nyelli Murray-Moore of Springfield, TN, father-in-law, Randy Hale and mother-in-law, Deb Hale both of Lima, OH, numerous cousins, fur babies Bella and Sophie.
Visitation will be on Thursday, February 9, 2023 from 4:00pm to 6:00pm at CHILES – LAMAN FUNERAL HOMES, EASTSIDE CHAPEL.
