John K. Gilroy, age 55, went to be with the Lord on March 7, 2020 at 7:03 pm at his home. John was born September 18, 1964, in Lima, OH, to William Gilroy and Sandra (Adkins) Garrett who are both deceased. His step-father, Paul (Janice) Garrett survives in Lima.
John was a homebody who loved spending time with his wife and cat. He liked watching scary movies and playing cards. He liked going out to eat with his friends and family.
John is survived by his wife, Terry Lee McDaniel of Dayton, OH and his daughter, Alyssa Renee Zwiebel of Wapak, OH, 2 brothers: Paul Jason Garrett and Scott Gilroy both of Lima, OH, and a sister, Melissa (Jason) Boeckman of Delphos, OH.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Christopher Lee Garrett.
There will be visitation held on Friday, March 13, 2020 from 6-8 pm at the CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES EASTSIDE CHAPEL. Following visitation Pastor Todd Klingler will share some words of comfort. Memorial contributions may be made to the family to assist the family with funeral expenses.
