JoAnn Marie Kline, 87 of Lima, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2023, at 5:04 pm, at Shawnee Manor Nursing Home.

JoAnn was born March 20, 1935 in Lima, to Robert and Esther (Miller) Lyle who preceded her in death. In 1953, she married Robert Reed Kline who preceded her in death.

Survivors include her children: Yvonne M. (Michael-dec.) Dix of Elida and Mark A. (Deb) Kline of Lima, Christine G. (Duane) Shock of Tiffin; siblings: Kenny (Marilyn) Lyle of Delphos. She is also survived by her half-siblings: Mary (Doug-dec.) Weber of Lima, Roxanne (John-dec.) Haller of Pulaski, TN, William (Deb) Lyle of Concord, Ted (Jeannie) Lyle of Lima and Kathy (Byron-dec.) Neal of DeGraff, eight grandchildren, one grandchild deceased, eleven great-grandchildren and one on the way, two great-great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild on the way.

She is preceded in death by the following children: Michael Reed Kline and Susan K. Kline, and siblings, Stan (Rosie) Lyle and Sharon (Gary) Malin,

She was a former employee of J.C. Penney. She loved to read, do crossword puzzles, visit the casinos and loved her Cleveland INDIANS!

The celebration of her life will be from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m, Sunday, March 12, 2023 at the Shawnee Chapel of Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services. A graveside service and burial will be in Carmen Cemetery at a later date.
