ETNCM (SS) Jessie P. Thomas (ret.), 46, passed away on October 12, 2022, at 1:00 pm, at Lima Memorial Health System, from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.

Jessie was born October 20, 1975 in Little Rock, AR, to Brenda (Finch) Thomas and the late Stanley Thomas.

Jessie graduated from Hiram Johnson High School in 1994. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nuclear Engineering Technology from Thomas Edison State College. He enlisted in the United States Navy in 1995 and was honorably discharged in 2016.

Jessie is survived by his wife, Treva N. Thomas of Leslie, MI and his two sons, Gage and Declan.

Jessie loved shooting, camping, and smoking meat. He also had a deep love for his motorcycle and military communities. He retired from the Navy after serving 21 years and was currently working as a Lead System Controller at Consumers Energy. Jessie was respected by his coworkers and peers and will be missed by those fortunate enough to know him.

A Celebration of Life will be held on October 28, 2022, 18:00-20:00, at Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW), 1243 Hull Rd, Mason, MI 48854.

Burial of cremated remains will be at a later date at Beaufort National Cemetery in Beaufort, SC.
