Jeanella Ann Hawk, 68 of Lima, passed away January 4, 2022, at Mercy Health – St. Rita’s Medical Center.

Jeanella was born February 6, 1953 in Lima to Perry and Ruth (Haspel) Killian, who preceded her in death. On June 30, 1973, she married Cleadous Hawk, who survives her in Lima.

Jeanella was a 1971 graduate of Lima Senior High School and worked as a secretary at Quest Academy and later retired from Lima City Schools. She enjoyed sewing, knitting and watching television, especially the Christmas movies on the Hallmark Channel. Jeanella loved attending her grandchildrens’ sporting events and was an active member of First Evangelical and Reformed Church here in Lima. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her family.

In addition to her husband, Jeanella is survived by her son, Cleadous (Holly) Hawk, II; daughter, Jennifer (Lori) Hawk; grandchildren, Brandon (Maria) Cottrell, Hunter Hawk, Sydnee Hawk and Carson Hawk; great-grandchildren, Quinn and Madilyn Cottrell; sister, EmilyJo (Jeff) Stimmel and her nieces and nephews, Brittany Sharp, Jase Stimmel, Alicia (Rodney) Phillips, Jerry Sprague, Jenna Sprague, Ricky Phillips and Brittany Phillips.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her aunt, Rosella Berger.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
