Jean was such a very special woman to us and many others. She brought such joy and love to all who knew her. She was one of the most loving and generous people we ever knew; so kind and accepting of all others. She always made us feel we were loved and accepted as a part of her family. Such a shining light in so many people's lives, she will be terribly missed. Please know that the entire Schmidt family is in our thoughts and prayers. May beautiful memories of your amazing Mother sustain all of you during this time of sorrow.

My thoughts and prayers to the family. Jean always made me feel like family, when I would come with my aunt Jan. (I wouldn't make it 5 seconds in the door without a hi Aunt Jean and a big hug). May God give you strength and comfort in the day to come.
