Janie M. Weaver, 72 of Lima, formerly of Green Springs, OH, passed away April 25, 2022, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Janie was born March 12, 1950 in Lake City, TN to William and Joyce (Sams) Hedgecoth, who preceded her in death. On May 13, 1968, she married Jerry Weaver, who survives her in Lima.

Janie was a 1968 graduate of Lake City High School and she was a Nurse’s Aid for over 30 years. Janie was an avid bowler and enjoyed playing bingo. She loved going to the casino and going out dancing with her husband. Most of all, Janie enjoyed spending time with her family; she will be deeply missed and never forgotten.

In addition to her husband, Janie is survived by her four children, Anna (Roy) Washam, Susan (Jeff) McClure, Paul Weaver and Garry Weaver; grandchildren, Sean Ketron, Hope Washam, Ciara Washam, Jesse Washam and Samantha Weaver; great-granddaughter, Opal Grace Eloise Sisk; sisters, Kathy Chercourt and Robin (Michael) Stanford and her brother, William Hedgecoth.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Danielle Kentron; brother, Tom Hedgecoth and her brother-in-law, Michael Chercourt.
