Janie A Hullinger, age 69, passed away November 7, 2017, at 8:42 am, at her residence. Janie was born January 10, 1948 in Lima, OH, to Joseph Leo and Dolly (McNamara) Hutchins who preceded her in death. On November 28, 1964 she married Thomas J. Hullinger who survives in Lima.
Janie had attended the Lima Central Catholic High School. After high school, she began working at the Kewpee Restaurant and worked there for 48 years until she retired in 2014. She had also worked as a Mary Kay consultant for 30 years where she earned numerous awards and cars. Janie was a member of the St. Gerard’s Catholic Church. She loved to play Egg Buddies on Facebook and work in her yard. She loved her pets, especially “Sassy”. Most of all she loved her family, friends and especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Janie is survived by her children, Lori A. (Robert Kennedy) Hullinger of Lima, OH and Michael T. (Robin Hamilton) Hullinger of Delphos, OH, 6 grandchildren: Patrick (Meagan Evans) Hullinger, Robert (Tiffany) Kennedy, Matthew Kennedy, Tommy Hullinger, Ladylynn Hullinger and Mary Warren, 4 great grandchildren: Anayah Hurley, Peyton Hullinger, Braxton Hullinger and Zayden Kennedy, 2 brothers: Dave Hutchins of Lima, OH and Thomas Hutchins of Dayton, OH, a sister, Cindy (Bob) Hill of Bowling Green, OH and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her twin sister, Jeanne Tschida.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 10:00 am at the CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, EASTSIDE CHAPEL. Officiating the service will be Fr. Mike Sergi. Eulogy will be given by Doris “Sis” Proctor. Burial will be in Gethsemani Cemetery following the service.
Friends may call on Friday from 4-8 pm at the EASTSIDE CHAPEL. Memorial contributions may be made to L.C.C. Athletic Department. Condolences may be expressed at chiles-lamanfh.com
