Janice K. Reynolds, age 82, passed away December 19, 2021, at 10:25 pm, at Lima Memorial Health System. Janice was born February 1, 1939, in Dayton, OH, to Horace V. and Frieda Marie (Feller) Richey Sr. who preceded her in death. In September of 1982 she married Russell J. Reynolds who survives in Lima.
Janice was a 1957 graduate of New Bremen High School. She had worked as the secretary treasurer for New Hope Christian Center for 30 years retiring in 2009. She had been a member of the New Hope Christian Center and the Audubon Society. She loved watching her birds with her husband, spending time with her family and her sisters. Janice was also a self taught computer wiz.
In addition to her husband, Janice is survived by her children: TommyLee (Deb Cipollone) Howell III of St. Marys, OH, Eric Howell of Lima, OH, Lonnell Saunders of Delphos, OH, Norman (Brenda) Howell of Lima, OH and Zach Reynolds of Lima, OH, 9 grandchildren: Nicole (Kevin Briem) Scott, Travis Howell, Nathan (Crystal) Howell, Karena Sheets, Tosha Howell, Madison Schiele, Clinton (Cayla Moon) Howell, Aaron Saunders and Alex Schiele, 11 great grandchildren, 4 siblings: Horace F. “Bud” Richey Jr. of FL, Herbert F. Richey of St. Marys, OH, Christine F. Glass of St. Marys, OH and Frank J. Richey of Troy, OH. She was preceded in death by her daughter, Gina Howell, a brother, Carl L. Richey, a sister, MariLou Wuebbenhorst and her step-mother, Helene L. Wuebbenhorst.
Following Janice’s wishes, there will be private family services held at a later date. The CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, SHAWNEE CHAPEL is assisting the family with funeral arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to the Audobon Society.
