Janalyn M. “Jan” Hedges, 65, of Lima passed away at 12:24 PM on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at CareCore of Lima.

She was born on December 10, 1956 in Lima to Arthur H. and Sue M. (Miller) Hedges, who both preceded her in death.

Jan was a member of Central Christian Church. She was a 1976 graduate of Lima Senior High School. She enjoyed arts and crafts and Bingo. She was a Cincinnati Bengals fan and had previously worked at Marimor Industries.

Surviving are her sister Trina (Joe) Snyder of Findlay; her brother Terry (Judy) Hedges of Waynesfield; her five nieces and nephews Aaron (Teresa) Snyder, Audra (Nick) Distler, Abby (Joe) Boop, Will (Ali) Hedges and Ben (Brooke) Hedges; her seven great-nieces and five great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother James Hedges.

Funeral Services will be held at 12:00 PM on Friday, September 30, 2022 at CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, SHAWNEE CHAPEL, where the family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the service.

Rev. Todd Cosart will officiate the service.

Interment in Memorial Park Cemetery will immediately follow the funeral service.
