James “Jim” L. Triplehorn, 83, passed away on August 9, 2022, at 8:12 am, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.
Jim was born November 24, 1938 in Bluffton, OH, to Russell Triplehorn and June (Fisher) Rocky who preceded him in death. On June 7, 1959 he married Beverly (Deifendeifer) Triplehorn who survives in Delphos, OH.
Jim attended Bluffton High School. He then enlisted into the United States Army and retired after twenty one years of service. Jim then worked for the city of Lima as a mechanic and retired after about twenty years. He was a member of the Lima VFW Post 1275, The Black Swamp Rifle & Pistol Club in Delphos and past member of Lima Sabres Shooting Association Inc. Jim cherished his wife Beverly and loved his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren dearly.
Jim is survived by his wife, Beverly Triplehorn of Delphos, OH, children, James “Jim” (Vicki) Triplehorn, Jr. of Lima, OH, Alan “Scott” (Jessica) Triplehorn of Pandora, OH, grandchildren, Mike (Sara) Triplehorn of Lima, OH, Matthew “Matt” (Heather) Triplehorn of Lima, OH, Audrey Triplehorn of Ottawa, OH, Katie Triplehorn of Ottawa, OH, Stefan (Desiree) Triplehorn of Lima, OH, Jarod (Courtney) Triplehorn of Carmel, IN, ten great-grandchildren and one on the way siblings, Dawn (Arley) Criblez of Ottawa, OH, Carol (Owen) Jones of Lima, OH.
He is preceded in death by his daughter, Patricia “Tricia” Triplehorn.
A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, August 25, 2022 at 10:30 am at Maple Grove Cemetery in Bluffton, OH. Pastor Tim Lewis to officiate will military honors provided by the American Legion Post 382.
