James “Jim” Graham, 64, of Lima passed away at 2:17 PM on Thursday, January 13, 2022 at Lima Memorial Hospital.

He was born on May 5, 1957 in Lima to James and Theresa “Sis” (Finn) Graham, who both preceded him in death. On May 30, 1986, he married Sharon (Lindeman) Graham, who survives in Lima.

Jim had worked as a machine operator at Nickles Bakery and retired after 30 years. He loved mowing grass, so after retiring, he went to work at Hawthorne Golf Course and then Hidden Creek Golf Course as a greens mower.

He was an avid sports fan and loved The Ohio State Buckeyes and the Cleveland Browns, and the Cincinnati Reds. He also enjoyed golfing.

Surviving in addition to his loving wife Sharon is his daughter Rachael Graham; his brothers Gary (Debbie) Graham, Rusty Graham and John (Debbie) Graham; his sisters Kathy (Warren) Long and Julie (Roy) Ruf.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, SHAWNEE CHAPEL, where the family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM.

The service will be live-streamed on the funeral homes Facebook page for those who cannot attend.

Rev. Denny Hunter will officiate the service.

Entombment will immediately follow in the Memorial Park Mausoleum.

The family asks that all of Jim’s family and friends dress casually in their favorite sports attire for the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
