So sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. It doesn't seem possible all these years have gone by. God bless.

I felt sad to read of Jim's passing. One of my fondest memories is the week you, Marilyn, and Jim spent with us at Ft. Myers Beach, FL. I remember Jim's delightfully dry sense of humor and laugh. Please accept my deepest sympathy, Marilyn.

Cindy- we had a lot of good times and memories with your folks over the years dining out, and will miss Jim and his humor. Our best to you, Mike and condolences to all the family.

Cindy, My heart goes out to you and your family. I still remember when we were in school and your dad was driving us places in the Volkswagen bus. (Such good times) When I would come over and hang out, he used to ask us questions, wanting to know what we were up to, and then would give us that hmmmmmm look like he really wasn't sure about us. His memories bring a smile to my face. Even as we grew older, and I would see him in the grocery, he and your mom would always stop for a moment to say hi and we'd catch up on what was going on in each others' lives. He was a very kind and thoughtful man. I'm keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. Love you, Pam

What a guy. Jim would come to my work and grab a cup of coffee and sit at my deck once or twice a week for years.. He knew everything about the city, he would share info with me, he was amazing, He loved his family, and lima.....ill miss the ole boy.

When we moved to the Shawnee area 11 years ago Jim and his wife were our backyard neighbors who were one of the first to welcome us. When Jim found out our name we realized that my father and him were classmates and he would always ask about him. He had great stories about school and life in Lima. He and his wife were the real definition of good neighbors. Thoughts and prayers to the family.

Jim was a very sweet and kind man. I worked at the Lima Public Library. Jim was one of my favorite patrons. He always had a smile on his face and a kind word to share. He purchased sale books and commented that he was going to be in big trouble with his wife Marilyn when he got home with more books...lol. He was one of the good guys. I lost both my parents within a year and Jim told me about the loss of his daughter. Now he will see her again. ?
