James F. Weinman, 89, passed away at 2:46 pm April 28, 2021 at Scenic Point Nursing Home.

He was born October 2, 1931 in Mercer County to Theodore and Lydia Weinman who preceded him in death. On February 5, 1955 he married Shirley A. Nolan who preceded him in death on August 7, 2014.

James retired from Ford Motor Company after 40 years of service in 1999. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church and a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean War. He loved Fords, going to tractor shows to see Ford tractors, and traveling with his wife.

Survivors include: 2 Sons, Stephen (Marilou) Weinman of CA, Martin Weinman of Columbus; 5 Daughters, Stephney (Jim) Fess of Lima, Joanna (Stan) Vandemark of Elida, Kayleen (Peter) Clute of Severna Park, MD, Alicia (Craig) Sutherly of Lima, Alison Weinman of Cincinnati; 9 Grandchildren; 11 Great-Grandchildren; a Brother, Rev. George W. (Connie) Weinman of MN; 2 Sisters, Ruth Ann (Rev.John) Ware of Cincinnati, Naomi (Don) Loose of Toledo.

Friends may call from 10:00 am until time of services at 11:00 am Saturday at CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES SHAWNEE CHAPEL with Rev. George Weinman officiating. Burial will follow in St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery, Rockford.

Memorial contributions may be made to Zion Lutheran Church.
