James F. “Jim” Graham, age 87, was called into the presence of the Lord at 8:42 am Friday, January 15, 2021, at Mercy Health – St. Rita’s Medical Center with his loving wife by his side.

Jim was born October 11, 1933 in Bellefontaine, OH, to Harry R. Graham and Mary (Yoder) Graham Soloma who both preceded him in death. On February 19, 1956 he married Connie (Madory) Graham.

Jim was a 1952 graduate of Kenton High School. He proudly served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Following his military service, Jim worked 10 years for Kroger and retired in 1991 from the American Tobacco Company after 31 years of service as a sales representative. After retirement he worked for Chiles-Laman Funeral Homes. Jim loved the Lord and was a dedicated member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Lima. He was a 2002 recipient of the Jefferson Award, volunteered for Our Daily Bread Soup Kitchen and the United Way for many years. He was a lifetime member of the Kenton Elks B.P.O.E. # 157 and the Kenton Moose Lodge #428. Jim was an avid reader and enjoyed gardening and playing golf. He especially loved traveling all over the world and spending time with his beloved wife, Connie.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Connie J. Graham of Lima; two sisters, Eleanor (Ron) Brown of Lima, Helen Joan (Forrest) Erdly of Edgerton, PA and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by a brother, Harry R. Graham Jr. and sister, Ruth Snider.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic a private graveside service will be held.
