Inara Biezais Febus, 74 of Elida, passed away peacefully in her home on May 15, 2021, after a two year battle with ALS, with her husband of 56 years by her side.

Inara was born July 22, 1946 in Wurzburg, Germany to Latvian parents, Janis Biezais and Nina (Jaunakais) Morley, in a displaced persons camp during WWII; her parents preceded her in death.

She was exceptional at tennis and golf and enjoyed life with her family at Indian Lake where she built the best fires and especially enjoyed boating. Most of all, Inara enjoyed spending time with her family; she loved attending all her grandchildren’s activities. She will be deeply missed by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Inara is survived by her husband of 56 years, Denny Febus of Elida, OH; children, Gina (Doyle Green) Clark of Fredericksburg, VA, Brett Febus of Dublin, OH and Jeff (Corinne) Febus of Hilliard, OH; beloved grandchildren, Tyler Clark, Cassandra Clark, Emily Santille, Olivia Febus, Brandon Febus, Morgan Febus and Leah Febus; her first great-grandchild, Blake Santille and her sister, Alda Biezais Liddle.
