Harold “Hal” R. Breidenbach, 85, passed away on November 20, 2022, at 11:00 pm, at the Kessler Estates.
Hal was born December 7, 1936 in Kenton, OH, to Walter and Gertrude (Long) Breidenbach who both preceded him in death. On May 30, 1969 he married Eileen (Hartman) Breidenbach who preceded him in death on January 7, 2020.
Hal graduated from Hardin Northern High School. He then enlisted into the United States Navy and was honorable discharged after six years of service. Hal worked at the shipyards in Toledo and had his own welding and fabrication company in Rawson, OH. He also worked at Clymers and Sons in Pandora, OH. Hal was a BeeKeeper and had various colonies in Allen and Hancock County. He cherished his wife dearly and spending time with his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Hal is survived by his children, Wendy (Darel) Bachorik of Findlay, OH, Sherree (Bill) Reser of Harrod, OH, grandchildren, Breanne (Noah) DePriest, Danielle Helfrich, Cody Bachorik, Allison (Brian) Pickens, Adam (Erica) Bachorik, Ashley Ward, Leslie Hurlburt, Racquel Reser, Ryan Reser, great-grandchildren, Lyla, Olivia, Cameron, Avery and Mason, Austin, Donovan, Desmond, Dayona, Damon, Destiny, Raymond and Tyler, great-great grandson, Kingstin and several nieces and nephews
He is preceded in death by his son, Larry (Brenda) Hurlburt, siblings, Nelson Breidenbach, Wesley Breidenbach, Kenneth Breidenbach, Lawrence Breidenbach, Marion Breidenbach, Mary Ellen Clapsaddle, and Thelma Freed.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.
