Gregory L. Reynolds, age 61, passed away June 2, 2021, at 4:20 am, at the Cleveland Clinic.

Gregory was born November 5, 1959 in Lima, OH, to Joe Reynolds who survives and Evelyn “Imy” Reynolds who preceded him in death. On October 3, 2015, he married Dawna (Sodders) Reynolds who survives in Lima. He worked at Dana Corporation for many years, where he served with pride. He loved sports and particularly enjoyed playing and watching basketball. He was a major fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Alabama Football. He never turned down an opportunity to express his loyalty with a boisterous “Roll Tide!” Eating good food was one of his passions, especially pizza and wings which were two of his favorites. Above all else, Gregory loved his family and friends. He loved to be with them and he would have done anything for them. He was an exceptional man, and will be greatly missed by all those who were fortunate enough to know him.

Survivors include: father, Joe Reynolds; spouse, Dawna Reynolds; children, Tara (Jonny) Reynolds, Brittany (Kyler) Reynolds, Michael Desenberg, Matthew Desenberg, and Raegan Desenberg; siblings, Austin Reynolds, David (Jewell) Reynolds, Jim (Tina) Reynolds, Larry (Laura) Reynolds, and his sixth brother, Kirby Hale; as well as his granddogs, Zeus, Hercules, Gizmo, Thor, Bear, and Princess.

Preceded in death by: mother, Evelyn “Imy” Reynolds; and siblings, Danny Reynolds, and Debbie Reynolds.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, June 8, 2021 at the Chiles-Laman Funeral Homes Shawnee Chapel. Rev. Tom Shobe will officiate the service. Burial will be near Spencerville in West Union Cemetery following the service. A public visitation will take place on the night prior, Monday, June 7, 2021 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. and again from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., also at the Shawnee Chapel. Memorial contributions may be made to the family.
