Lima, Ohio

Gloria S. Freed, age 67, passed away at 6:34 am Tuesday, November 2, 2021, at Mercy Health – St. Rita’s Medical Center.

Gloria was born October 21, 1954 in Lima, Ohio to the late Robert Joseph Freed Sr. and Joyce (Whitehurst) Eutsler.

Gloria attended Spencerville High School. She had previously worked for Lima Flack, delivered flowers for Town and Country Florist and news papers for the Lima News. Gloria especially loved spending time with her family and her beloved cat, Cuddles.

She is survived by sister and best friend, Rhonda Kay Freed of Lima. brother, Robert (Karen) Freed Jr. of Spencerville, sister, Tana Matte of Lima, brother, David (Charisse) Fuerst of Lima and Darren (Missy) Eutsler of Wapakoneta; step-dad, Paul Eutsler of Wapakoneta; step-brother, Mark (Barbara) Eutsler of Charleston, SC; step-sister, Darlene Eutsler of Charleston SC; 6 nephews; 2 nieces; 3 great-nephews and 2 great-nieces; uncle, Lee (Gina) Whitehurst.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her grandparents, Harman and Geneldia Whitehurst; brother-in-law, George “Slim” Matte; niece Ashley Eutsler and step-dad, Joe Fuerst.

Gloria’s wishes were that no services be observed.
