Ellen E. Friedman, 90, passed away at 6:55 pm July 29, 2021 at Mercy Health – St. Rita’s Medical Center.

She was born December 26, 1930 in Toledo to Henry and Letabell (Faler) Langlois who preceded her in death. On July 11, 1950 she married Charles I. Friedman who preceded her in death on June 22, 1989.

Ellen was a member of St. Lukes Lutheran Church and choir, and a volunteer at Lima Memorial Health Systems for 30 years. She adored her grandson, Jimmy.

Survivors include: a Son, Robert (Christina) Friedman of Lima; 2 Daughters, Joanne “Jo” Friedman of Atlanta, GA, Sandra L. Friedman-Imbrock of Lima; a Grandson, James A.C. “Jimmy” Imbrock of Lima; a Brother, Henry Langlois of TN.

She was preceded in death by: a Brother, Carl Langlois; a Son-in-law, James A. Imbrock.

Friends may call from 11:00 am until time of services at 1:00 pm Monday at CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES SHAWNEE CHAPEL with Rev. Robert Gibson officiating. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Please wear masks for visitation and services.
