Elizabeth Marie Stauffer, age 97, passed away June 2, 2020, at 8:00 am, at the Lima Memorial Health System. Elizabeth was born December 20, 1922 in Carey, Ohio, to Clinton and Nellie Puchta who preceded her in death. On June 21, 1939, she married Harry S. Stauffer Sr. who preceded her in death on May 31, 2000.
Elizabeth was a very vibrant, joyful and beautiful lady. She loved all of her beautiful dolls, flowers, lacey curtains and shopping.
Elizabeth is survived by her children: Harry Stauffer, Jr. of Orange County, FL, John E. (Jan) Stauffer of Perrysburg, OH, Phyllis M. (William) Duncan of Redington Beach, FL and Shirley A. Diller of Lima, OH, a brother, Richard Puchta of Carey, OH, 8 grandchildren: James Stauffer, Angie Stauffer, John David Stauffer, Lisa Stauffer Poe, Heather Blumberg, Maria Diller, William Douglas Duncan, Kelly Duncan-Hanick, Ronald Stauffer and Rochelle Dean and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a son, Ronald Dean Stauffer, 8 siblings: Catherine Cheney, Franklin Puchta, Donald Puchta, Jack Puchta, Lucille Greenlay, Mary Hagerman, Mildred Atkins and Ruth Jones.
In accordance with the Covid-19 restrictions the family will be having private family services with burial to follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery. Officiating the service will be Rev. Bryan Bucher.
