Eddies M. “MaeMae” Jackson, age 53, passed away March 6, 2021, at 3:30 pm, at Mercy Health – St. Rita’s Medical Center.
Eddies was born December 23, 1967 in Lima, to William L. Collins Sr. and Mary A. Nichols, both of whom preceded her in death. On January 1, 2000, she married Terry L. Jackson Sr., who preceded her in death on November 13, 2010. She was a member of Philippian Missionary Baptist Church for many years, where she greatly enjoyed attending and sharing in fellowship with her church family. She loved playing cards, singing, and dancing. Eddies was always the life of the party. She was constantly full of joy, always had an uplifting spirit, and she had a real talent for making people laugh. She took pride in her role as a caregiver, and never missed an opportunity to help someone in need. She fought back against her disease for ten years so that she could help as many people as possible with the time that she had. Above all else, she loved being surrounded by and caring for her beloved family. Eddies was an exceptional woman and will be greatly missed by all those who were fortunate enough to know her.
Survivors include: children, Terry L. Jackson Jr., Derrick (Nasasha) Jackson, Kiarra Jackson, and Tyrae (Miercedez) Jackson Sr.; siblings, William Collins Jr., Levi Anderson, Jonathan Collins, and Vanessa Dobbins, 18 grandchildren; special sons, Leroy Early and Gralan Early; special daughter, Diesha Jackson; special Nephew, Bryan Mays; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other family members, and too many loved ones to count.
