Donna Marie (Fletcher) Laman, 84 of Cridersville, passed away at 9:50 PM on Friday, December 18, 2020 at Lima Memorial Hospital as a result of Covid.

Donna was born March 4, 1936 to the late Paul and Leora (Steward) Fletcher. On December 23, 1954, she married Ron Laman, who survives her in Cridersville.

Donna was a graduate of South High School, class of 1954. She had worked at Wells Department Store, Star Carpet and later the News Gazette, where she retired. Donna was Secretary and then later the President of the American Business Women’s Association. She also played in the Women’s Golf League at The Oaks. Donna loved life. She loved watching Ohio State football on Saturdays with her friends and then meeting every Sunday for lunch at the Eagles with family and playing her joes. She enjoyed golfing, playing hand and foot with her daughters and granddaughters, as well as her once a month visit with the lunch bunch girls from high school. When you would visit, you could find her in the sun room, putting a puzzle together with her two dogs, Charlie and Lulu, right by her side.

In addition to her husband, Donna is survived by her four daughters, Ronda (Ron) Painter of Elida, Teri (Lance) Kellermeyer of Celina, Kelly (Bob) Moyer and Bonnie (Jeff) Davisson, both of Elida; nine grandchildren, Tiffany (Troy) Thomas, Lindsay Painter, Erin (Justin) Spray, Neal (Jen) Garrison, Lorin Moyer, Tyler Moyer, Lexi Moyer, Nick Bilbrey and Jamie (Ryan) Hobbs; four step-grandchildren, Dan (Tara) Kellermeyer, Wess (Brandy) Kellermeyer, Corey Davisson and Casey Davisson; 25 great-grandchildren; brother, Kenneth Fletcher, of Lima; sister, Carol Camper of Florida; sister-in-law, Pat Rumer, of Elida and several nieces, nephews and many cherished friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother, Wayne Fletcher.

We take comfort in knowing that God has you in His arms and we will forever have you in our hearts.

Visitation will be on Saturday, December 26, 2020 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, SHAWNEE CHAPEL with Pastor Ted Bible to officiate.
