Donald Kenneth Tebo, Sr., age 89 of Ostrander and formerly of Lima passed away Sunday, Feb. 20, 2022, at 8:40 a.m.

He was born Sept. 4, 1932 in Lansing, MI, to Clifford and Beatrice (DeWolfe) Tebo who preceded him in death. On Sept. 2, 1961 he married Phyllis Wilson Tebo who preceded him in death on Mar. 19, 2015.

He attended college at the University of Michigan and Tri-State University. He was a computer programmer for Frigidaire, General Motors and EDS. He loved to read the Bible and read books and volunteered at St. Rita’s for 30 years, acquiring nearly 7,000 hours. He was a longtime member of Bluelick Bible Church.

Survivors included his children: Pamela (David) Claybaugh of Lima and Donald (Kim) Tebo, Jr. of Ostrander, OH; Four grandchidren: Dustin Lehman, Shawn Lehman, Ashley Wheeler and Beth Tebo and five great-grandchildren.

Preceded in death by a son, Robert Tebo.

Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2022 at the Shawnee Chapel of Chiles-Laman Funeral Home, Rev. Jim Neighbors to officiate the service. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery following the service. Visitation will be from Noon until the time of service on Wednesday.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
