Dino is a 1979 graduate of Elida High School and he went on to graduate from The Ohio State University with degrees in English Literature, Business Administration and Economic Geography. He was a long-time supporter of house music and a member of St. Charles of Borromeo Catholic Church. Dino loved traveling, reading and spending time at Cedar Point; most of all, Dino was an “idea guy” who had a passion for music.
In addition to his mother, Dino is survived by his brother, James (Joyce Warnecke) Franks; children, Ashlee, Jacob (Emily), Jessica and Jamee; niece, Tina (Tom) Sulzmann; nephew, Michael Franks; great-nephew, James Sulzmann; cousins, Debe (Jim) Kincl, Gina Page, Katy Jo (Bob Duval) Page, Zach Gerdeman, Matthew Gerdeman, Mindy Xavier, Andrea Ballou and Katie Fortman; many aunts and uncles; close friends, Greg Stolly, Michael Ayers and Jerry Lewis and his four-legged friend, Henry.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his aunt, Jean Page, uncles, Wayne, Roger, Urban “Erbie” Gerdeman, Tim Fortman and his nephew, Jimmy Franks.
