Dennis William Lambert, Sr., 66 of Lima, passed away December 23, 2020, at Mercy Health – St. Rita’s Medical Center.

Dennis was born September 22, 1954 in Lima, to Buck and Mary (Martin) Lambert, who preceded him in death. On April 22, 1995, he married Veronica (Cooper) Lambert, who survives him.

Dennis was a 1973 graduate of Elida High School and worked as a machinist at Teledyne. He was an avid woodworker and a member of the Orioles Nest #173 for over 40 years. Most of all, Dennis was a family man who loved spending time with his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his children, Polly (Kevin) Bice, William Lambert, Trevor Lambert, Sr., Corrin Moser, Joseph (Shanica) Hardesty, Jessica (Randy McMillin) Rhinock and Riley Lambert; 25 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sisters, Caroline Bicknell, Shelley Pohlman and Connie Miller; brothers, Jim (Barb) Recker, Buck Lambert, Jr. and Tony Recker; brothers-in-law, Tim Pohlman, Brent Huffer and Mike Hollar and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Dennis is preceded in death by his sisters, Mary Huffer and Annette Hollar.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM onMonday, December 28, 2020 at CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES – EASTSIDE CHAPEL. Entombment will be in the Memorial Park Cemetery Mausoleum following the service.

Visitation will be Monday, December 28, 2020, from 11:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home.
