David H. Horton, 54, passed away on September 18, 2021, at 5:07 am, at Mercy Health – St. Rita’s Medical Center, surrounded by his loving family.
David was born March 4, 1967 in Newton, KS, to Robert “Bob” and Mary “Dotsie” (Fredrick) Horton who both preceded him in death. On June 8, 1991 he married Dianne (Minnich) Horton who survives in Lima, OH.
David attended Memorial High School in St. Marys, OH. He was a Truck Driver for over thirty years. He enjoyed fixing anything with a motor, shooting guns and spending time with his friends and family. David also liked traveling to various locations in the United States.
David is survived by his wife, Dianne Horton of Lima, OH, children, Herman (Teresa) Minnich of Lima, OH, Ginny (John) Glick of Lima, OH, Jessie Reeder of Columbus, OH, JoAnn (Travis) Kruger of Lima, OH, David (Liz) Horton of Lima, OH, Amber (Joe) Hale of Lima, OH, son-in-law, Troy Reeder of Columbus, OH, daughter-in-law, Stephanie (Scott) Mills of Marion, OH, sixteen grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, eleven siblings, and his mother-in-law, Virginia Minnich of Lima, OH.
He is preceded in death by his father-in-law, Henry Minnich.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at 8:00pm at CHILES – LAMAN FUNERAL HOMES, EASTSIDE CHAPEL.
Visitation will be on Thursday, September 23, 2021 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the EASTSIDE CHAPEL.
