Darrell “Glen” Mullenhour, 89, passed away at 12:10 pm, February 8, 2022 at his residence.
He was born March 24, 1932 in Lima to John and Ruth (Herring) Mullenhour who preceded him in death. On July 15, 1952 he married Marlene Decker who survives in Delphos.
Glen worked as a tool and die maker at Ford Motor Company and Gasdorf Tool and Die. He was an instructor and mentor for apprentice tool and die makers at Ford Motor Company. He was a US Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict and a member of First Baptist Church since 1942. Glen truly adored his family as they did him.
Survivors include: 2 Sons, Douglas (Mary Jane) Mullenhour of Delphos, David (Tracey) Mullenhour of Powell; 3 Daughters, Cynthia (Dennis) Buettner of Marysville, Janet (William) Meredith of Hilliard, Mary (Steve) Lyons of Hilliard; 13 Grandchildren, Daniel (Neda) Buettner, Matthew (Ellen) Buettner, Lindy (Rick) Hogan, Mary Kate Meredith, Michael Meredith, Spencer Meredith, Christopher (Carrie) Lyons, Joey Lyons, Theresa (Terry) Schnipke, Melissa (Scott) Myers, Kenneth (Mary) Stocklin, Andrew (Kati) Pyles, Krysten (Josh) Bennett; Several Great-Grandchildren and Great-Great-Grandchildren; a Brother, Wayne Mullenhour of Gomer; a Sister-in-law, Patti Mullenhour of VA.
He was preceded in death by: 2 Brothers, Rolland Mullenhour, James Mullenhour.
Friends may visit from 4:00 until 8:00 pm Friday at CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES SHAWNEE CHAPEL. Services will be at 11:00 am Saturday at Faith Christian Church with Pastor Terri Wies-Haithcock officiating. Military honors will be conducted by VFW 1275 and the US Navy.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Putnam County Hospice, Faith Christian Church, or Donor’s Choice.
