Colene Toinette “Toni” Piehl-Hoehn, 90. of Lima passed away at 3:08 AM on Sunday, May 9, 2021 at St. Rita’s Medical Center, Lima.
She was born on January 31, 1931 in Roundhead, Ohio to the late Earl Burnison and Glenna (Homer Binkley) Lament. On June 11, 1948 she married Harold Piehl, who preceded her in death on October 31, 1993. She later married Robert Meyer, who preceded her in death on January 21, 1996 and then married Walter Hoehn, who survives.
Toni had worked for over 20 years in the office at Rudolph Foods. She attended Harrod Christian Church and was a member of the Eagles Aerie #370, Lima. In her younger years she enjoyed square dancing and then later in life enjoyed ball room dancing. She also enjoyed bowling, camping and crocheting. She also loved to play euchre.
Surviving are her husband Walter Hoehn; her daughters Jeannine (John) Clark of Findlay and Lynnette (Don) Holdgreve of VanWert;
her brothers Carol (Patty) Burnison of Wooster and Mark Binkley of Harrod; her daughter-in-law and caregiver Judy Brenek of Lima; her eleven grandchildren and her nineteen step-grandchildren; her twenty-four great-grandchildren and her twenty-six step great-grandchildren; her step-children Ed (Marcy) Hoehn of Ottoville, Tim (Chris) Hoehn of Glandorf, Mary Beggs of Lima, Steve (Cathy) Hoehn of Ottoville, Diane (Terry) Lee of Lima, Linda (Randy) Schroeder of Mason, MI and Ruth (Terry) Wannemacher of Ottoville.
She was preceded in death by her son Fred Piehl; her step-son Michael Hoehn; her brother Lee Burnison.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Thursday, May 13, 2021, where a funeral services will immediately follow at 2:00 PM at CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL & CREMATION SERVICES, EASTSIDE CHAPEL.
Pastor Dan Metzger will officiate the services.
Covid 19 protocol will be observed and the family requests that all attendees wear masks and observe social distancing.
Interment will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
