Christina Ann Dare, 72, passed away on November 29, 2020, at 11:23 am, Mercy Health – St. Rita’s Medical Center.
Christina was born August 14, 1948 in Lima, OH, to Charles and Alice (Godsill) Risk who both preceded her in death. On May 28, 1974 she married Richard Allen Dare who survives in Lima, OH.
Christina graduated from Bath High School, class of 1967. She had a degree in Education from Ohio State University. She also received an Electrical Engineering degree from Lima Technical College. She was an instructor at L.J.C. and Owens Community College. On June 20, 2008 Christina was ordained at Camp Wisteria, by Selena Fox of Circle Sanctuary. Some of Christina’s hobbies included herb and vegetable gardening, as well as photography.
Christina is survived by her husband, Richard Dare of Lima, OH, brother, Leonard Watkins, nieces, Diana (Mark) Bishop, Marcia Pate, Alicia (Craig) DuVernay, Theresa Watkins, Marika Shingledecker, Debbie Stauffer and Pam Flory, nephews, Dylan (Jennifer) Basil, Rick (Sandy) Watkins, Len Watkins, David Flory and Michael Watkins.
She is preceded in death by her brother, John Watkins, nephews, Roger Flory, Glen Watkins, Michael Watkins and Ted Watkins.
A Memorial Service will take place at a later date. It will be a private service.
