Christian Trevor Maier, age 48, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family at 4:02 p.m. Saturday, April 2, 2022, at Lima Memorial Health System.
Christian was born February 17, 1974 in Lima, OH, to John F. and Betty L. (Howard) Maier.
Christian was a 1993 graduate of Shawnee High School and had worked at Chief Supermarkets in Shawnee for more than 20 years. Christian loved The Ohio State Buckeyes and Cleveland Indians. He was an avid car enthusiast, enjoyed singing karaoke and was a huge fan of The Doors. Christian truly loved his job at Chief Supermarkets, socializing with the customers and he was always willing to share his knowledge of current events in Lima. His greatest joy was his family, he loved spending time with his family and friends. To know Christian was to love Christian! He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He is survived by a family whom loved him dearly, mom, Betty L. Maier of Lima; three sisters, Jacqueline (John) Sandy of Pataskala, Stephanie Makley of Lima, Dr. Heather (Brad) Wilkinson of Blue Ash; two brothers, Shawn (Rachel) Maier of Kirkland, WA, and Tyler (Erin) Maier of Lima; twelve nieces and nephews, Taylor (Derek) Sharp, Alexandra (Terry Fry) Sandy, Logan Sandy, Gavin Makley, Wesleigh Wilkinson, Bridley Wilkinson, Wren Wilkinson, Bianca Maier, Francesca Maier, Arlo Maier, Hugo Maier, Owen Maier and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is preceded in death by his dad, John F. Maier on January 24, 2018.
Memorial Services celebrating Christian’s life will begin at 12:00 noon Saturday, April 9, 2022, at the mausoleum in Woodlawn Cemetery, 1751 Spencerville Road, Lima, Ohio 45805.
