Cheryl A. Jones, age 65, passed away January 4, 2022, at 7:00 pm, at her residence. Cheryl was born May 14, 1956, in Lima, OH, to Charles Elliot and Margaret (Mason) Elliot-Brewer. Her father preceded her in death and her mother survives in Westminster, OH. On July 12, 1980, she married Ronald E. Jones who survives in Lima.
Cheryl had attended Bath High School. She spent her life dedicated to raising her children and taking care of her family. Cheryl was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan and loved to fish and go canoeing. She will be remembered as being a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother and great cook.
In addition to her mother and husband, Cheryl is survived by her children: Ronald Jones of Lima, OH, Karen Jones of Bellefontaine, OH, Joshua Jones of Lima, OH, Kayla Jones of Barberton, OH and Kerri Jones of Rockford, OH, 10 grandchildren, 2 brothers: Ray Elliot and David Brewer. She was preceded in death by a brother, Larry Brewer and her step-father, Litten Brewer who raised her.
There will be a funeral service held on Tuesday, January 11, 2022 at 2:00 pm at the CHILES-LAMAN FUNERAL AND CREMATION SERVICES, EASTSIDE CHAPEL. Officiating the service will be Pastor Dave Burkhart. Burial will be in Ward Cemetery following the service.
Friends may visit on Tuesday from 12 noon until the time of the service at 2:00 pm at the EASTSIDE CHAPEL. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Rita’s Hospice. Condolences may be expressed to the family at www.chiles-lamanfh.com.
