Chase Alexander Lauck, age 24 of Lima, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2022, at 8:54 p.m., at Mercy Health – St. Rita’s Medical Center, surrounded by his loved ones.

He was born November 11, 1997 in Lima to Todd A. and Maria D. (McGee) Lauck who survive in Lima.

Also surviving are his sister, Victoria Rose Lauck and his brother Jacob Parker Lauck both of Lima; his grandmother, Judy Kay Lauck of Lima, and his grandfather Charles (Nina) Arthur McGee of London, OH; his uncles, Dominic (Mikki) McGee of Florida and Brad Lauck of Lima; plus a host of aunts & uncles and friends; two special children whom he admired, Braylen Thompson and Kamry Reynolds; and his godfather, Greg P. Schleter of Lima.

He was employed at Wannemacher Total Logistics. He was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church. He enjoyed watching his sister and brother in their sporting events at L.C.C. He was an athlete in high school playing football, basketball and running track. He enjoyed watching football and basketball on television, especially the Philadelphia Eagles and the Oregon Ducks.

He is preceded in death by a grandfather, Gary Russell Lauck and a grandmother, Dianna Lynn Williamson.

Services will be held at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, July 30, 2022 at the Shawnee Chapel of Chiles-Laman Funeral & Cremation Services, with Fr. David Ross officiating. Entombment will follow in Shawnee Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, from 2-8 p.m. in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association.
