Celia Ann Reynolds (Brewer), age 73, passed away November 7, 2021, at 6:52 am, at her residence.

Celia was born on July 26, 1948, in Phoenix City, AL, to Henry Brewer and Ruby (Clay) Hughes, both of whom preceded her in death. She worked at Lima State Hospital and eventually retired from Shawnee Manor. She had a passion for bingo and greatly enjoyed sharing in fellowship with her regular play group. She loved dancing and having fun; her joyous spirit would always light up any room that she found herself in. She never met a stranger and was known for her honesty and integrity. Above all else, she enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandkids. Celia was an exceptional woman and will be greatly missed by all those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Survivors include: children, Melissa Q. Brewer and Evetta D. Brewer; siblings, Evelyn Cory and Cynthia Davis; grandchildren, Joe Brown Jr., JaTavia Brewer, Shyvetta Simpson, and JaMonyca Brewer; great-grandchildren, LaDeryon Dillon-Brewer and QiAnnye Brewer; as well as many special friends.

Preceded in death by parents, Henry Brewer, Ruby G. (Clay) Hughes, and her step-father, Earl T. Hughes; as well as siblings, Constance Dillard and Betty Brown.

A public visitation will take place on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at the Chiles-Laman Funeral Homes Eastside Chapel. A memorial service will take place immediately following the visitation at 1:00 p.m.
Rev. Robert Curtis Jr. will officiate the service.
