Thinking of Carrie's family at this time. Know we have you in our thoughts and prayers. Her family was blessed to have had her for their mother. Now she and Johnnie are together and maybe there can be a huge ice cream party!! So glad to have known her. Jack & Rosie Jacob

To Carrie's famiy ... although it has been many many years and I have lost touch... I want to share important memories of Carrie. As a youth I was coached by Carrie in women's softball. She was always fun and certainly made us laugh while we played. Most importantly Carrie was instrumental at getting me my first job at Ingall's restaurant. I was only 15 and had to hitch a ride with someone to get to Bluffton. That job taught me so much about diligence, customer service, respect, responsibility, and good work ethic; most of it learned by her on the job training. These soft skills were maintained all through my working years ( and I am entering retirment soon). She opened a very important door for me, and I am thankful for that. Her home was always open to youth and John also accepted us with a smile. My heart goes out to you. People will tell you how she lived a long good life and to be grateful. The fact is, when you have your mother in your life for 88 years, you have had much more time to feel her love and love her back which entitles you to miss her more ...... find peace in that love ....... take care ..... Bev

Carrie Miller was always very kind to us when we started to attend St. Johns Mennonite Church. She always made time to say hello to you. A special moment I will never forget is when our family was leaving on a Mission Trip and she stopped by to send gift to the missionaries that we were going to visit. They also shared financial resources towards our trip. Johnny and Carrie always shared what resources they had been blessed with. Carrie's family you were blessed to have this special women in your lives. I'm sure she will be missed. Pam Macke
