Carolyn “Susie” Dooley, 65, passed away on August 8, 2021, at 1:50 pm, at her residence, surrounded by her loving family.
Susie was born on December 19, 1955 in Lima, OH, to Vernon and Juanita Hollar who both preceded her in death. On September 27, 1981 she married Wayne D. Dooley who survives in Lima, OH.
Susie graduated from Bath High School in 1973. She then attended Lima Technical College for two years. She was a Nurse Tech for Lima Memorial Hospital for fifteen years. Susie then worked for the Lima Correctional Institution for over fifteen years. Susie loved her husband Wayne dearly and cherished spending time with her children and grandchildren very much.
Susie is survived by her husband, Wayne D. Dooley of Lima, OH, children, Teresa (Keith) Mefferd of Dayton, OH, Wayne (Christine) Dooley of Lima, OH, Joshua Dooley of Marion, OH, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren, siblings, Kathy (Mike) Blankenship of Elida, OH, Cheryl (Mike) Donovan of Lima, OH, Janice Hollar of Lima, OH, she also leaves behind several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Vernon (Barb) Hollar.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 14, 2021 at 7:00pm at CHILES – LAMAN FUNERAL HOMES, SHAWNEE CHAPEL. Pastor Ed Jarrell to officiate the service.
Visitation will be on August 14, 2021 from 1:00pm to 3:00pm and 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the SHAWNEE CHAPEL.
