Carol Lueva Snyder, 82 of Lima, passed away March 6, 2023, at her home, surrounded by her loving family.

Carol was born October 10, 1940 in Lima, to Earl and Deliliah (Golden) Hetrick, who preceded her in death. On January 2, 1960, she married Ronald “Ron” Snyder, who survives her in Lima.

Carol was a 1958 graduate of Bath High School and attended Bowling Green University. She was a wonderful homemaker and mother who loved her family and she was an avid shopper. Carol loved to sing, especially happy birthday to everyone dear to her and she loved entertaining people at her home. She was very active in various church activities and she made it a point to never miss her children’s events growing up. Carol loved to have fun and spend time with her three best friends, the Joyces.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Michele (Bob) McPheron, Mike (Tracey) Snyder, Kris (Mitch) Hall and Devin (Michelle) Snyder; grandchildren, B.J. (Heather) McPheron, Zac McPheron, Mallory Snyder, Drew Snyder, Jessica (Jordon) Whetstone, Haley (Austin) Wolke, Wyatt Harrison and Dylan Snyder and her great-grandchildren, Harper McPheron, Brecken McPheron, Brooks McPheron, Layne Whetstone and Emmy Whetstone.

Memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Grace Baptist Church, 1097 Fett Ave., Lima, OH 45801, with Rev. Jim Baker to officiate the service.

Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM until the time of the service at the church.
