Carlose G. Rogers, Sr., 73 of Lima, passed away February 15, 2023, at his residence.
Carlose was born July 25, 1949 in Birmingham, AL, to Isaac Rogers and Sally Sledge – Crumble, who preceded him in death. On February 14, 2002 he married Carolyn (Franklin) Rogers, who preceded him in death in 2005.
Carlose was a graduate of Perry High School and a proud United States Air Force Veteran. Carlose was employed by the United States Air Force until his retirement and he enjoyed watching TV in his spare time. He loved trying his luck with the lottery and listening to music.
Carlose is survived by his son, Carlose G. (Lisa) Rogers, Jr. of Sidney; grandson, Devan Rogers; step-grandson, Donovan Clark; step-granddaughter, Raivan Clark; six step-great-grandcchildren; brothers, Marvin and Isaac “Butch”; sisters, Audreey, Sherry and Vivian and a host of cousins
There will be a private memorial service held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Veteran’s Food Pantry.
